HISTORY/BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: Margaret Best lived in Edmonton, Alberta with her husband, John P. Best, who was secretary of the Alberta Veterinarian Medical Association.
SCOPE AND CONTENT: Fonds consists of the personal records of Margaret Best and includes mortgages between various individuals including George McDonald, Walter Littster, Frank Miller, Franz Schibal, Edgar Acton, Mathias Weber, Alexander Ehnes, Lil Pearce, Thomas Cunningham, Lizzie Birkett, William O. Farquharson, Minnie R. Farquharson, Antoni Szczurek, James S. Loughead, and Louise Buckman. Fonds also includes a 1958 brief on veterinarian medicine at the University of Alberta and a 1975 membership roster for the Alberta Veterinarian Medical Association.
