| HISTORY/BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: | Born May 9, 1940, Dr. Bialas graduated from the Academy of Physical Education, Poland, with his Masters Degree. He earned credentials in Natural Medicine, Business and Law. Migrating to Canada in 1982 Dr. Bialas continued his education earning a diploma and Ph.D. in Natural Medicine. Receiving certificates in all arenas of the Natural Medicine profession, he is recognized as one of the leading innovators in Natural Medicine in Canada. In addition, Dr. Bialas is also a recreation consultant, nutrition consultant and instructor of ethics for doctors of natural medicine and practitioners.
As well as his educational achievements, Dr Bialas has been the recipient of a plethora of awards including being named the Edmonton Ambassador in 1998, receiving an honorary doctorate of natural medicine, a life time membership award to the North American Examining Board of Natural Medicine Practitioners and the to the Institute of Natural Medicine and Examining Board of Natural Medicine Practitioners Association, Alberta Branch in 2003.
Dr Bialas is the founder of the Institute of Natural Medicine and Examining Board of Natural Medicine Practitioners Association, and ran a private practice in Edmonton, Alberta. Dr. Bialas was the president of the Institute for of Natural medicine from 2002-2004, and was a medical consultant with the Oriental Medicine Center in Edmonton, Alberta. He has also served as the Chief Advisor Liaison Officer for Alberta Health and Wellness.
Dr. Bialas still resides in Edmonton, but is retired. He is currently working on a project collecting information about book stores for the Polish community.
