Ducey was awarded the lease to Renfrew Park in Edmonton, Alberta from the Edmonton City Council; in April, Beatty, Mullen, and Ducey formed a joint-stock company, the Edmonton Senior Baseball League Limited (Ltd.), which was incorporated April 18, 1946 under the Companies Act. The Company was to carry out the business of baseball parks, amusement parks, exhibition, races, performances of all kinds and generally the furnishing of amusement to the public; to lay out and prepare the lands for the holding of games, sports, recreations, entertainments and races; to construct grand or other stands, arenas, booths, refreshment conveniences and to conduct, hold and promote baseball games and matches, athletic sports, race meeting and matches of all kinds, exhibitions, expositions, and shows. Ducey was president of the Edmonton Senior Baseball League Ltd. In 1957, the company wound up operations and Ducey was appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs and distributing the assets of the Company. The Edmonton Senior Baseball League Ltd. was officially dissolved in 1971. | CUSTODIAL HISTORY: | John Ducey (PR1982.0100) and Brant E.
