On photo: "This print was taken by me, when I was the one (only) teacher in Sedalia School. One room, Grades 1 - 9, about 35 pupils. Salary $925.00 per year, lower the next year. The houses face South looking onto a railway track & a field. L. to R.

- Mrs. Hanson's house, which we rented for $15.00/month - 1932 - 33 Then we moved to a $5 month shack owned by Mr. Brekke.
- Mr. Fisher's house - general storekeeper - his son operates a store in Sylvan Lake now.
