History:	Majorville Cairn is a Subgroup 6 medicine wheel consisting of a central cairn some 9 metres in diameter and 1.6 m high. It is surrounded by a more or less circular ring of cobbles about 27 metres in diameter. Twenty-six to 28 cobble rows or 'spokes' connect the cairn and circle. This feature is situated at the west edge of the current designation area in (LSD15-3, and LSD1 2-10-19-18W4M) are ten associated stone feature sites; EdPc-2, 73, 77, 78, 89, 90, 91, 92, and 94 which contain a total cobble rows bisecting the circle or pendant to the circle and probably represent ceremonial structures associated with rites related to Majorville Cairn. As well, it is possible that some features in this area form significant stellar alignments with the Majorville Cairn, although this remains unproven. The area designated was expanded to the following description in July 1987: LSD 15, 16-Sec 2-Twp 19-Rg 18-W4; and LSD 1, 2-Sec 10-Twp 19-Rg 18-W4.
