Environment: The house is located on what was once a farm at the Northwest edge of Trochu. It is surrounded by a lovely parklike setting with many varieties of trees, flowering shrubs and perennial flowers artistically arranged around the property. It is becoming overgrown from neglect. This area is actually an extension of Poplar Avenue and was called the subdivision. Three other houses were originally built here that are now in town. They are: Allan Gehrings, Betty Knievels and Wilmar Krauses.
