| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The subseries consists of conviction ledgers (1908-1925, 1910-1912, 1935-1936), summary trial (indictable) files (1934-1936), and information and complaints (1922-1936) from the Police Magistrates’ Court in Wetaskiwin. The files contain documents known as “information” or “complaints” pertaining to alleged criminal activities, as well as annotations of the justice of the peace or police magistrate pertaining to the result of the trial. The files may also include information pertaining to warrants as well as committals to prisons or jails. |
