| HISTORY/BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: | The U.F.A. and U.F.W.A. Independent Political Association of the Strathcona Federal Constituency was organized in June of 1919, with the first meeting of the Association’s executive being held July 14, 1919 in Leduc, Alberta. The Association had as their motto “Adequate representation for agricultural interests” and as their objective the training in the principles of a democratic Canadian citizenship and their expression at the polls. |
