Is a person able to obtain patient records from 1947 - 1955 to prove that the patient was in the charles camsell hospital during these years.	5/9/2008

I have records showing my grandfather was admitted to the Ponoka Mental Hospital in 1962. I'm told that records during that period were destroyed in a flood and it was to expensive to save them. Can you elaborate on this as I'm unable to access anymore information than what I've been told by the hospital.	1/7/2008

My great grandmother was sent to the Alberta Hospital at Ponoka (the Provincial Hospital for the Insane) some time in the 1950's because of her (what we would now know as Alzheimer’s) symptoms.
