Could you please tell me how I could find information on the wife or wives of a well-known steamboat captain, John S. Segers, who skippered steamers from Athabasca Landing to Fort McMurray at the time of the Klondike Gold Rush? One wife reportedly died in the mid 1870s, the second died in August 1887 at Fort McMurray. Do local cemeteries have lists of people interred there? Or is there some other index of death dates? I need to track down an obituary or other death notice. Unfortunately I don't know the first names of either wife.	4/3/2007
